After years of using various cameras, mostly relying on automatic settings, I began to question the quality of my results.  I'd often come across photos of similar subjects, yet theirs seemed so much better.  At 65, I decided it was time to learn how to capture those perfect shots myself.  I clearly remember my first lesson with a local photography instructor, where I boldly declared, "I want to take perfect pictures."  His good-natured chuckle marked the start of my journey. With an eye for specific photographic compositions, I felt compelled to share my work with others.  Creating this website has given me the chance to revisit the thousand of photos I've taken over the years.  As I scroll through them, many simply pass by, but a few stop me in my tracks.  I linger over those, and that is when I start to see the story within. I believe every photo tells a story in its own way, but some really bring that narrative to life.  For me, the story is real--because I was there, I took the shot and I lived it.  We all encounter incredible images in various media--photos of places, events, people, and landscape--that inspire us to experience them first hand.  Through my own photography, my goal is to encourage you to travel.  When we travel, we not only witness the beauty in person but also embrace the culture and connect with the people.  We become part of the picture.  It might not be perfect, but it will Emphasize our Perspective.​
